WHISTLES TAPS DOG-LOVING BUDDY BRAND FOR NEW CAPSULE COLLECTION

London-based contemporary brand Whistles has collaborated with Japanese brand Buddy on a limited edition accessory and footwear collection for men and women.

The collection includes smooth finish white leather sneakers, suede trainers, a leather coin wallet in grey, a navy leather bi-fold wallet, two canvas totes in mustard and navy, and a functional roll top back-pack in grey. Items will retail from $110 and will be available online at Whistles.com.

“As soon as we met the Buddy team, we knew we wanted to work with them, not only are the bags and accessories beautifully designed and made, but we share their attitude, and love of dogs,” said Jane Shepherdson, CEO of Whistles.

Founded in 2012, Buddy focuses on pared-back silhouettes and functional designs. Known for its craftsmanship, the brand draws inspiration from its love of dogs.
