WITTMORE RETURNS TO LIBERTY CONCEPT SPACE THIS MONTH
Los Angeles-based retailer Wittmore is returning to the space that started it all. For the month of May, Wittmore is popping up at the Liberty concept space, Concept 8366 ½, on W. 3rd street in L.A. The shop features the company’s founder Paul C. Witt’s favorite items, some new additions, as well as in-store exclusives.
Curated menswear from Reigning Champ, Helmut Lang, Alex Mill, Mollusk, Outerknown, CWST and Creep by Hiroshi Awai sit alongside accessories from Pintrill, DSPTCH, and Topo Designs. Tabletop items from Austin-based Rhyno Clayworks, Studio Cofield, and Copenhagen’s Studio Arhoj are merchandised throughout the space. Shop exclusives include a fun “Tourist” T-shirt, a custom CREEP short sleeve button down shirt, and tees from L.A.-based Hiro Clark.
“Three years ago I came out to L.A. for what I thought was a one-month pop up, and it went so well I never went back to New York,” said Witt. “It’s fun returning to where Wittmore started.”
Wittmore currently operates a successful online shop as well as two permanent retail locations in Los Angeles. The company most recently introduced its own made-in-L.A. 100% cotton T-shirts, and is working on developing additional items for fall.
