Men’s and women’s athletic apparel retailer Yogasmoga will open its first New York City retail location at 10 Bond Street. Selldorf Architects, who have designed the much-anticipated building, will also be designing the store, which is expected to feature a yoga lounge on its lower level.

Yogasmoaga researches, develops and manufactures its products in the USA, utilizing eco-conscious dyeing practices and create proprietary fabrics that resist pilling and provide superior moisture wicking. Products are made in a variety of vibrant, colors and prints, as well as the brand’s trademarked Carbon 6 Black, a superior shade of black that offers unparalleled opacity. The men’s apparel line, including tees, tanks, hoodies, jackets, pants, and shorts, retails from $60-$300; accessories run from $10-$210.

The opening of this new flagship continues the company’s expansion for the brand after 10 store openings in 2015. “In three years, we have opened stores on the beach in Malibu and La Jolla, tech hubs like San Francisco, suburban Greenwich and Short Hills, and now urban locations like New York City,” says CEO Rishi Bali.

“We’ve taken inspiration from Yogasmoga’s ethos of technical fabric innovation to design key elements of the store,” says Annette Selldorf. “We expect to use their fabric technology and beautiful colors as the focal point of this unique double height experience.”
