A NIGHT TO REMEMBER, ITALIAN STYLE!
Every so often in the flurry of trade shows and dinners and reconnecting with old friends, there’s an event so magical, so memorable, reminding us of all that is wonderful in our industry. Thank you Italian Trade Agency for putting together an amazing evening river cruise during the Chicago Collective, combining the magnificent architecture of Chicago, the beauty of Italian fashion and the wonderful flavors of Italian food and wine, all of which was exceptional on this cruise.
The main fashion messages for Spring ’23, as created by Italian artisans and modeled by three handsome guys on board: bold color statements and combinations (with pastels front and center); elevated casual pieces mixed with exquisite tailoring; fine knitwear as the basic underpinning of modern male wardrobes; texture mixes including linen, seersucker, lightweight suedes; somewhat looser (but far from oversized) silhouettes; and COMFORT that combines the softest Italian fabrics and the world’s best craftsmanship, much of it by hand.
