ACCESSORIES COUNCIL ANNOUNCES TOP HONOREES FOR ACE AWARDS

The Accessories Council will host the 25th annual ACE Awards on Tuesday, November 2nd at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. The event will honor individuals and companies who have furthered the awareness and use of accessories.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary, this year’s honorees are being recognized for being HEROS. After the last 18 months, the Accessories Council felt it was important to not only celebrate the beautiful product, but to recognize the generosity, good work, and heart and soul of the industry. All honorees have shown accomplishments in COVID relief, sustainability, ongoing charitable work, and/or inclusivity and diversity over the past year.

This year’s top honorees include Wes Gordon, creative director at Carolina Herrera; Christian Siriano; LaQuan Smith; Crocs; Stephanie Roberson, chief merchandising officer at Shopbop; Caleres/Allen Edmonds; Qurate Retail Group; and Karyn Schoenbart of The NPD Group. A Collective Award will also be given to Optical Industry.

Plus, Accessories Council members will have the opportunity to vote for one of the following candidates to receive an ACE Award: Aether Diamonds; Blessings in a Backpack; ElyseRyan; Freida Rothman; LaFonn Jewelry; Le Vian; Marlyn Schiff; Pura Vida; Tall Order; and Vera Bradley.

AC Magazine will launch a special print issue for the first time in lieu of the ACE Awards journal. The issue will feature the winners, all nominee finalists, past ACE winners and will include guest writers such as Lynn Yaeger, Roxanne Robinson, and more.

Over the past 25 years, the Accessories Council has honored and recognized global brands and pioneers, positioning them at the forefront of the fashion industry. Sponsors of the event include Informa, Judith Leiber, Marchon, Signal Brands, and Vera Bradley.
