ÁWET NEW YORK EXPANDS RETAIL FOOTPRINT WITH A SHOP IN LE MARAIS, PARIS

Áwet New York will open a pop-up shop in Paris’s iconic Le Marais neighborhood from Apr 22- 28. The move is a tease of plans for a future permanent store in Paris, to be announced. The brand initially made its international debut during Resort 2023 with an exclusive event held at Soho House Paris. Aptly titled “A Celebration of Women,” the intimate dinner aimed to honor and empower women while laying the groundwork for Áwet New York’s presence in the European market. Rather than merely showcasing a collection during the resort market, Áwet New York prioritized community-building and engaging with its audience. This approach allowed the brand to cultivate strong support, particularly among the Parisian clientele.

Expressing enthusiasm about the expansion, Áwet Woldegebriel, the brand’s founder, stated, “Paris has welcomed us with open arms. It has become a second home for our brand, and we are thrilled to provide our customer base with the opportunity to experience our unique retail concept firsthand in this vibrant market.” Woldegebriel also acknowledged the high demand for Áwet New York’s offerings in Europe and emphasized the importance of responding to customer needs by creating engaging activations.

Following the successful launch of Áwet New York’s flagship store in 2023, located in New York City’s Noho neighborhood on Bond Street, the brand’s expansion to Paris further cements its position as a global fashion brand.
