BANANA REPUBLIC INTRODUCES COLLECTION WITH PREP CURRY

by Stephen Garner

Banana Republic has introduced a new collaborative collection with Los Angeles-based artist and fashion designer Prep Curry.

The ready-to-wear collection includes design-forward streetwear and accessories that reflect Curry’s California cool aesthetic with striking geometric shapes and graphic florals, bringing his bold style to life through 16 signature pieces.

Originally from Memphis, the self-taught designer moved to Los Angeles in 2016 with only $6 in his pocket and a dream to start his own fashion brand. After overcoming many life hardships and setbacks, Curry never lost faith or determination to achieve his goal. Today, Curry is an accomplished designer of his eponymous sportswear brand and is committed to paving the way for aspiring designers. This collaboration is another step in Banana Republics’ ongoing commitment to celebrate and amplify the voices of BIPOC creatives.

The new Banana Republic x Prep Curry collection, which retails between $12.50 and $398, is now available on BananaRepublic.com and in select stores.
