BERGDORF GOODMAN RELEASES HOLIDAY-THEMED SHORT FILM

Bergdorf Goodman has kicked off its holiday 2021 campaign by streaming a short, original film across all of its digital channels.

Inspired by the directorial style of Wes Anderson (although he was not involved in any way with its production), the movie is called “The Present Moment” and was developed and directed by the store’s VP of Creative Brand and Marketing, Elle Strauss, who had complete creative control of the project.

It stars several fashion insiders including Bergdorf’s own Director of Women’s Fashion Linda Fargo and designers Michael Kors, Emily Bode, Christopher John Rogers, Sergio Hudson and Waris Ahluwalia. Ahluwalia also narrates the 2:10 minute film.

Another “secret” designer/Santa makes a surprise cameo at the end as the mysterious Bergdorf Goodman Courier, who travels through the store to select the perfect holiday gift on behalf of customers from around the world.
