CODY SIMPSON STARS IN LATEST VERSACE MEN’S EYEWEAR CAMPAIGN

by Stephen Garner

Versace’s latest men’s eyewear collection reimagines the brand’s signature Medusa logo – now designed as a hollow, tactile cast that embellishes openwork frames.

The new collection is showcased with a new campaign featuring singer, actor, model, and swimmer Cody Simpson. He is seen modeling the Italian luxury brand’s new sun and optical styles like the VE 2225 pilot frame and futuristic VE 2226.

The VE 2225 style is a reinterpretation of a classic pilot shape. This design features a sleek, metal wire frame with a tactile Medusa emblem cast between the double bridge and embedded into the open wire temples. This model is featured in an array of color combinations: golden with grey lenses, gunmetal with grey mirrored silver lenses, and golden with light brown mirrored golden gradient lenses.

The futuristic VE 2226 sun style boasts edgy rimless shield lenses. Wrapped lens spoilers and a wraparound metal top-frame enhance the statement silhouette. Medusa emblems are featured at the center of the lens as well as on the temples. Metallic tones complement the aesthetic of the style – available in silver with light grey mirror silver lenses, golden with brown mirror golden lenses, and pale golden with dark brown mirror golden lenses.

Plus, the contemporary optical VE 1269 style, are pilot frames featuring a double bridge and metal wire frame. Medusa emblems enhance the striking open wire temples. The sleek design comes in an elegant color palette that includes silver, gunmetal, and matte black.
