DIESEL RELEASES LATEST RED TAG COLLECTION WITH A-COLD-WALL*
Diesel has released its latest Red Tag collection developed in collaboration with A-Cold-Wall* by Samuel Ross.
The capsule collection was partially presented in an installation on September 9th during New York Fashion Week with an exclusive pre-order session on selected items.
But, now, the entire collection is available at a-cold-wall.com and during an event at Innersect Shanghai. On Saturday, it will be available at diesel.com, select Diesel flagship stores, and through a selection of retailers worldwide curated by Tomorrow. On December 10th, Diesel founder Renzo Rosso and Samuel Ross will host a launch event in Tokyo’s TOLOT/heuristic Shinonome to further celebrate the release of the capsule.
A-Cold-Wall* is Diesel Red Tag’s fourth collaborative partner (following Shayne Oliver of Hood By Air, Glenn Martens of Y/Project and Gosha Rubchinskiy of GR-Uniforma). The collaboration consists of a range of vegetable-dyed garments, avant-garde workwear and utility-focused details, including translucent denim seam taping and the use of a devoré technique, which layers Diesel’s traditional heavyweight denim with the malleable memory nylon panels that have become synonymous with A-Cold-Wall’s design aesthetic.
There are 19 pieces in total including jackets, trousers, and accessories. The outerwear and the trousers are the collection’s hallmarks; from a spliced and patched hooded parka to tie-dyed denim shirt jacket to technical mixed-material dyed jeans.
The Diesel Red Tag x A-Cold-Wall* collection is captured in a series of videos and still life imagery developed by Dexter Navy, and a look-book photographed by Rob Rusling.
