ETTINGER DINNER CELEBRATES GLENDRONACH COLLABORATION

by John Russel Jones

British luxury leather goods brand Ettinger is collaborating with Scottish distillery GlenDronach on a capsule collection, so CEO Robert Ettinger hosted a group of editors and influencers at New York City’s The Porter House to celebrate with a tasting of the four aged varieties that serve as the inspiration for the collection.

Built around GlenDronach’s core range of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry cask-aged scotches (Original, aged 12 years; Revival, aged 15 years, Allardice, aged 18 years; and Parliament, aged 21 years), the capsule includes a luggage tag, a card case, a passport case, and a watch roll, each rendered in leathers with hues that correspond to the scotch’s labels. Retails will range from around $75 to $400, and are currently available only at select GlenDronach retailers, with a roll-out to specialty stores planned for later this year.
