Fratelli RossettiLuxury Italian footwear and leather goods brand Fratelli Rossetti returned to Pitti Uomo this season with a collection of different models that are bound together by a common thread. Visible stitching with zig-zag motif mixed together with colorful threading is the signature feature of the brand’s master artisans from Milan. This decorative element, playing around with materials and two-tone combinations, is presented on a range of Fratelli Rossetti iconic models, including the Brera loafer, the Oxford, the Derby, as well as on sneakers.

A key style among some of the new additions for next winter, the iconic Brera, is now embellished with satin details in various colors on its tassels, loafer edges, insoles, and hems. The shoes also stand out for their leather. Color is removed and then reapplied, creating extremely intense shades. In addition, a sportier version of the Brera has a thicker but ultra-light sole, with zigzag designs around the edge.

The same motif has also made it into the sport collection on two of the models to be presented: The first features a classic boxed sole and decoration on the upper part of the shoe, its materials ranging from patent to more artisanal leather. The other, with larger features, is made out of two-tone leather or single-colored velvet.

Fratelli Rossetti“Our return to Pitti confirms a path of growth undertaken by the company,” explained Diego Rossetti, president of Fratelli Rossetti. “The event is becoming an increasingly prestigious international stage. As we have contributed to the history of this exhibition, we couldn’t miss another one.”

Fratelli Rossetti’s decision to return to Pitti, after a hiatus of six years, is underlined by the fact that the brand will be presenting men’s and women’s collections together during Milan Fashion Week at a unique event in February.

Fratelli Rossetti was founded in 1953 in Parabiago, a town just outside Milan, by Renzo Rossetti. The company is currently headed by the second generation of the Rossetti family, brothers Diego, Luca, and Dario who, through their passion and hard work, have steered Fratelli Rossetti to its 60th anniversary and beyond.
