GOLDEN GOOSE REVEALS NEW ‘STAR’ COLLECTION

by Stephen Garner

Golden Goose has revealed its new “Star” collection and campaign.

Featuring a signature design from the ‘70s, genderless tracksuits within the latest collection combine a retro silhouette with high-quality materials resulting in an effortless and versatile wardrobe. Throughout the majority of the collection, the “Star-Stripe” serves as a key design element running down the sleeves of jackets and sides of legs.

This new drop also includes sweatshirts, shorts, t-shirts, and accessories such as socks, hats, baseball caps, and more. Prices range from $95 for t-shirts, $270 for tracksuit separates, and $680 for a sweatshirt with a collar drenched in Swarovski crystals.

The collection’s campaign is set in New York and features non-binary actor Tommy Dorfman; transgender actress and model Leyna Bloom; model, musician, and fashion designer Kailand Morris; artist and model Langley Fox; and actress, writer, and activist Marta Pozzan. The cast was captured in a series of short videos to answer the question “What makes you a star?” while taking part in activities that make them a star in their everyday life. The videos will launch every Wednesday on Golden Goose social media channels over the course of four weeks.

The collection is now available for purchase on the Golden Goose website and in retail stores worldwide. Beginning in June, the collection will also be available at select wholesale partners.
