GREEN WITH ENVY: VERDANT HUES DOMINATE THE MENSWEAR MARKET FOR FALL 2025

by John Russel Jones

While Pantone’s color of the year might have been Mocha Mousse, the real winner in the menswear market for Fall/Winter 2025/2026 seemed to be a whole galore of green. Wicked-mania? Maybe. But we think it’s a soothing, rich hue that makes just about everybody look good (choose shades wisely!), and complements fall’s traditional earth tones nicely. Someone once told me that “green never sells.” Still, we’re hoping that this year, retailers will have the luck of the Irish on their side and that emerald, jade, chartreuse, pine, sage, lime, kelly, fir, pea, verdigris, and all their cousins will keep selections looking fresh and salable throughout the season. With St. Patrick’s Day coming up next Monday, we thought it was a perfect time to celebrate the most poplar-er-popular hues of the season.

…and, finally, ’47 has released a whole new St. Patrick’s Day collection. Erin go bragh!
