HERSCHEL SUPPLY TEAMS UP WITH SHANGHAI-BASED BRAND ON COLLECTION
Herschel Supply has released an exclusive partnership offering with KKtP – a Shanghai-based footwear and apparel brand by designer Kim Kiroic.
This collection marks the first time Herschel Supply has collaborated with a local designer since entering the Chinese market in April 2017. Merging Herschel’s iconic silhouettes and manufacturing capabilities with KKtP’s futuristic vision, each piece is a departure from the ordinary.
From the Hip Pack styles that can be worn around the waist or as a crossbody, to the Rolltop bag that can transform from a backpack to a duffle, all five pieces have been specifically engineered to offer multiple carrying options. This transformative line is available in four color options — ranging from Black to Brilliant Blue — and is rendered in a water-resistant polycoat material with uncoated contrast fabric detailing. Clip-fastened seatbelt webbing and exclusive branded elements are among the premium finishes.
“The big thing we talked about when we first started working together was the roots of our brands, and how we could stay true to who we are,” said Jon Warren, design director at Herschel Supply. “I think somewhere in between we found this utility design product that blends Herschel fabrications and styles with Kim’s unique perspective on products.”
Herschel Supply will further develop its presence in China by continuing to collaborate with local designers, and by opening brick and mortar locations in the region this year.
Ranging from $49.99 to $149.99, the complete Herschel Supply for KKtP Collection is available in limited quantities at herschel.com.
