Italian denim collection Jacob Cohën, a division of Giada SpA, has hired menswear veteran Luca Spano as its new chief operating officer for the U.S. market. Spano will be in charge of the growth of the brand’s new subsidiary in the States.

Spano began his career in the fashion industry over 22 years ago and has amassed a strong sales history in the business. Today, with over two decades of experience he is operating his own multi-brand showroom with a high-end luxury line of products where he has already surpassed sales goals. Spano has built a strong defining network of relationships with menswear retailers from coast to coast. He ranks as a fabric and fit specialist leading him to heightened innovation in delivering results with today’s modern menswear consumer in mind.

“I feel confident in bringing Jacob Cohën to the next level,” said Spano. “It’s already present in both major department stores as well as the independent men’s luxury stores.”

Jacob Cohën is a collection of tailored jeans all hand-made in Italy of exclusive Japanese kurabo denim. The entire men’s collection offers luxurious denim, a great variety of cuts, and specialized washing techniques to create a super-soft finish.
