Update: A multi-million dollar federal lawsuit involving James Whitner, the founder and owner The Whitaker Group — an umbrella company that controls sneaker boutiques Social Status, A Ma Maniere and APB — may finally be coming to a close. The Whitaker Group took to Instagram on Monday morning to share the news that they would not be prosecuted in the case, which accused them of illegally funneling product to Chinese resellers.
