JOHN ELLIOTT LAUNCHES AT SELFRIDGES WITH SUSTAINABLE CAPSULE COLLECTION
Los Angeles-based designer John Elliott will launch with London department store Selfridges & Co with a new exclusive and sustainable capsule collection.
The collection, dubbed Natural Decay, is the connection between Elliott’s spring/summer 2018 season – Field Manual and fall/winter 2018 season – Delirium. It is inspired by the California high desert and concept of distortion.
Through this lens Elliott explored a sustainable and natural approach in the fabrication of the collection. Garments are washed with natural mud and charcoal dyeing techniques so the color will live over time. The denim is ozone washed to produce zero water runoff.
The collection is available now in-store at Selfridges & Co London store and online at Selfridges.com. It will be available at JohnElliott.co starting Wednesday, June 6th.
