KENNETH COLE AND HAPPY JACK JOIN FORCES FOR SECOND LIMITED EDITION COLLECTION IN SUPPORT OF MENTAL HEALTH
Following the resounding success of their initial collaboration last October, Kenneth Cole announces the launch of a second limited edition collection in partnership with Happy Jack. This new collection will continue the brand’s support for mental health initiatives, with 100% of net proceeds benefiting The Happy Jack Foundation in support of the University of Denver’s Jack Nathan Scholarship for The Arts Program.
“Happy Jack” refers to Jack Nathan, a compassionate and creative individual who found solace from his anxiety and depression through art therapy. Tragically, Jack passed away at the age of 19 due to accidental fentanyl poisoning. In his memory, his family and friends are dedicated to carrying on his mission of destigmatizing mental health issues and fostering open conversations to aid others facing similar challenges.
As a founder of The Mental Health Coalition, Kenneth Cole is committed to initiating discussions around mental health with diverse audiences. Upon learning of Jack Nathan’s story and his efforts to support others, Cole felt compelled to collaborate, seeing it as a natural extension of his advocacy work.
The unisex collection, tailored to appeal to GEN Z consumers, includes an embroidered crewneck and sweat shorts set priced at $125 and $65, respectively, a striped T-shirt for $50, a bucket hat for $40, and tube socks for $20. A poignant addition to the collection is the inclusion of the simple question, “Happy?” as a reminder to check in on those struggling with mental health challenges.
By wearing and sharing items from the collection, supporters contribute to Jack Nathan’s legacy and help further his mission of promoting mental health awareness and support for young people. The collection is set to launch on March 20, coinciding with the International Day of Happiness, exclusively on KennethCole.com.
