KENNETH COLE LAUNCHES NEW CONCEPT STORE, “TEMPORARY BY KENNETH COLE”

by John Russel Jones

Kenneth Cole recognizes that, since March 2020, we have all been living with a sense of institutionalized uncertainty. Change is the only constant and that is the very concept behind Temporary, the designer’s new retail concept.

In response to our society’s evolution, Cole has curated a living, breathing store concept that’s inspired by change. Starting with “Mind, Body & Sole” as its first focus, each collection has a purpose, with a percentage of all sales being donated to The Mental Health Coalition.

For its opening, the assortment will feature 13 in-store exclusive men’s apparel looks from the Fall 2022 collection, as well as footwear, and “Voicewear” products. “Voicewear” is the brand’s way of using its voice to encourage others to use theirs: The messages are relevant, thoughtful, and engaging, inspiring others to wear their hearts on their chests and be always on purpose.

The store is located at the corner of Bond Street and Bowery in New York City, a neighborhood where a thriving community of progressives are always looking for what’s next. Customers will be able to enjoy complimentary juices from Pressed, and usage of a partnership with Uber, complimentarily delivering anything you purchased within 24 hours to any of the five boroughs. With the goal of changing quarterly, customers are encouraged to visit soon before the next Temporary assortment.
