KIEHL’S CELEBRATES 10 YEARS OF LIFERIDE WITH AMFAR

by Stephen Garner

American skincare brand Kiehl’s Since 1851 and amfAR celebrated its 10th-anniversary partnership of LifeRide with a private rooftop event at Westfield Century in Los Angeles on Saturday. Prior to the celebration, Kiehl’s motorcycle LifeRiders embarked on a two-hour ride from North Malibu Canyon arriving together to the event.

Each year at LifeRide, Kiehl’s celebrity riders take to the streets to meet and educate the public and raise funds for amfAR’s work to benefit HIV/AIDS research. At the conclusion of this year’s ride, Kiehl’s LifeRide for amfAR will have ridden more than 12,000 miles since 2010, and have raised over $2 million, funding ten cure-related research projects.

LifeRider and actor Scott Patterson performed with his blues rock band SMITHRADIO, followed by a performance from Empire actress and singer Serayah and a DJ to keep the music flowing. Guests received airbrush tattoos, customized bandanas, enjoyed cocktails and bites from Wolfgang Puck, an interactive photobooth, and experienced hydrating stations stocked with the latest Kiehl’s products.

Notable talent in attendance to support the cause included guests such as Peter Facinelli with girlfriend Lily Anne Harrison and daughter Fiona, Jake T. Austin, Kiehl’s LifeRider’s Prince Michael Jackson, JR Bourne, Kurt Yaeger, Scott Patterson, Milissa Sears, Luke Wessman, Travis Shinn, and Kevin Robert Frost (amfAR CEO).
