HUF RELEASES WOODSTOCK-INSPIRED COLLECTION

by Stephen Garner

HUF has teamed up with Woodstock Ventures – the organizers of the famed music festival – on a collaborative apparel collection celebrating the 50th anniversary of Woodstock’s legendary summer of 1969 festival. The three-day festival attracted almost a half million people at Max Yasgur’s dairy farm in upstate New York and is arguably the most famous music festival of all time.

Drawing upon Woodstock’s historic archive, HUF puts its spin on iconic visuals, slogans, and festival ephemera across a range of jackets, fleece, tees, hats, socks, and bags that pay tribute to the revolutionary counterculture movement.

Headlining the collection is the limited-edition Crowd Twill Workwear Jacket and Sunset Pullover Hoodie, both featuring an all-over photo print of the notorious ‘half a million strong’ Woodstock crowd. Other highlights include the vintage military-inspired Objector M65 Jacket with custom embroidery, the psychedelic tie-dyed Peaking Short Sleeve Tee, a Bucket Hat featuring 60s iconography in a repeat pattern, and the Woodstock Side Trip Bag finished with guitar strap-style webbing.

The HUF x Woodstock Collaboration is set to release tomorrow, August 1st, at select retailers worldwide, with highlighted styles offered exclusively through HUF’s website and flagship stores.
