KINKADE’S PUTS FAMILY FIRST FOR FATHER’S DAY

by Karen Alberg Grossman

Keith and Missy Kinkade have been running this Father’s Day ad (with new customer faces each year) in their local newspaper for a dozen or so years now, and it continues to generate excitement and emotion. Says Keith, “It’s a tribute to my father, who died at the early age of 47. I was a high school senior in a Houston suburb. I decided right then to attend Ole Miss, the college from which my dad graduated with honors in 1964.”

Upon his graduation in 1994, Keith worked briefly in Alexandria, Louisiana before starting his career at Billy Neville’s Rogue and Good Company in Jackson, Mississippi. “I purchased the Rogue with a partner in 2005 and sold it in 2008. My wife Missy and I then founded Kinkade’s Fine Clothing, where we market ourselves in a different way, letting our customers know that they are truly part of our family. This ad, inspired by my dad, is an example of the values that permeate our entire organization.”

Happy Father’s Day to All!
