Kith has joined forces with the American television series The Simpsons to debut a multifaceted new partnership.
A new collection of apparel and accessories is inspired by Springfield’s residents and some of their most memorable moments, with design motifs referencing the show’s instantly recognizable animation. Crew and turtleneck knits feature an all-over Clouds print, the Simpson family’s Couch, and characters including Bart, Homer, and Lisa. The family members reappear both separately and as a group across tees, hoodies, and crewnecks, where they’re joined by other key characters including Maggie, Marge, and Krusty.
These motifs are carried on throughout the accessory offering, which includes a range of 59Fifty Caps in partnership with New Era portraying Bart, Homer, and Springfield Elementary’s resident bullies – Jimbo, Dolph, Nelson, and Kearney. Socks revisit the all-over Clouds motif. Throughout the collection, each item features co-branding efforts.
Kith will bring Springfield to life with an immersive installation of the Simpson family home in its SoHo store location, which will be open daily to view through January 26th from 12-8PM.
To coincide with the release of the collection, Kith Treats has partnered with fellow New York-born sweets purveyor Doughnut Plant to create the real-world version of the famous frosted doughnut that is often the subject of Homer Simpson’s daydreams on the iconic show.
The cake doughnut, covered in a fresh raspberry glaze on top and finished with a Madagascar vanilla bean glaze on the bottom and coated in all-natural rainbow sprinkles is then blended into Kith Treats’ signature vanilla ice cream. The treat is available as an ice cream swirl or a milkshake at all domestic Kith Treats flagships — Brooklyn, SoHo, Miami, and Los Angeles — through Monday, January 25th. The classic yeast version of the doughnut was available at Doughnut Plant’s Brooklyn and Manhattan locations this past weekend.
