LA DOUBLEJ AND ORLEBAR BROWN JOIN FORCES FOR A HIGH SUMMER CAPSULE COLLECTION

After reconnecting at a mutual friend’s weekend party in the English countryside, La DoubleJ founder J.J. Martin and Orlebar Brown founder Adam Brown fused their creative energies to launch a new take on destination dressing. The “Raise Your Vacation Vibration” collaboration features a high summer capsule collection of 34 swimwear and ready-to-wear styles designed for all genders. This collection arrives in three striking prints with a bold red, white, and blue palette. The line blends La DoubleJ’s vibrant, Italian-inspired prints with Orlebar Brown’s sophisticated silhouettes.

“This collection is a true founder-to-founder collaboration,” said Martin. “Orlebar Brown wanted to add more pizzazz to its prints, while we at La DoubleJ sought to incorporate  ‘off-duty’ elegance. The pieces, though traditionally seen as men’s or women’s, are genderless and meant to be shared with a partner or friend on holiday.”

Adam Brown shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration: “I fell in love with La DoubleJ when I met J.J. Martin. Her aesthetic is infectiously upbeat and vibrant. This collection is a superb fusion of both brands, taking them into new realms without rules or constraints, filled with love and joy.”

The collection is infused with the laid-back luxury of Mediterranean adventures, featuring pieces like the “Viviana” dress crafted from fine Italian cotton, oversized tops such as the “Better Than Your Boyfriend’s Shirt” and the “Maitan Shirt,” and versatile one-pieces like the “Daquiri Suit” and the tailored “Bulldog Swim Shorts.” Each item is designed to integrate seamlessly into your summer wardrobe or to coordinate with your partner’s beachside look.

The brands will host events in St. Tropez to celebrate the launch, which is today. The collection will be available on both brands’ websites, in La DoubleJ stores in Milan and Taormina, and at the Portofino Pop-up Shop.
