Landerman Joins Brand Factory
LAS VEGAS – Bob Landerman has joined the Brand Factory Agency in the new position of vice president of sales.
Landerman will be responsible for sales and marketing of all the company’s collections, including belts, scarves, footwear and small leather goods. He reports to Jay Goldman, president of the Westport, Conn.-based strategic marketing and product development company.
Landerman was most recently vice president of Doc Martens for six years following five years with L.A. Gear as VP. Prior to that, he spent four years as president of the Bostonian division of Clark’s of England and eight years as VP of sales at Florsheim. His apparel and accessories credentials include earlier stints with Sawyer of Napa and Humphreys leather goods.
Brand Factory was formed by Goldman two years ago to represent the output of several outstanding Italian producers and develop specialized products for the better and luxury markets in the U.S. In addition to offering Quadraro belts, Fiore cashmere scarves and Panelli footwear, the company owns the Joseph Bruce 1928 trademark, under which it markets wallets, belts and other small leather goods.
