LATICO LEATHERS WINS LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Latico Leathers, which makes men’s and women’s leather goods, has won the Carlos Falchi Lifetime Iconoclast Lifetime Achievement Award in Handbag Design at the 14th Annual Independent Handbag Designer Awards.

This prestigious award is an industry staple boasting the largest database of independent designers worldwide. Previous winners of the award include Rebeccah Minkoff and Kate Spade, to name a few.

The Handbag Awards will live-stream on Wednesday at 1pm EST, and then again at 4pm on Facebook Live, and then finally at IGTV at 7pm. Sponsors include Instyle Magazine, Bloomingdales, and NY NOW.

In recent weeks, Latico has donated 8,800 meals to Feeding America, a non-profit nationwide network of more than 200 food banks helping feed the hungry.
