LUCHIANO VISCONTI ADDS NEW CLASSIFICATIONS

Menswear brand Luchiano Visconti has added new classifications to its already successful sport shirt business.

“We’ve added dress shirts and formalwear shirts and will be stocking them,” says Jeff Simon, president of Visconti. “The future in retailing is to stock basics so that retailers can fill in and maintain a model stock in their stores. By stocking certain styles, it gives retailers a chance to test new product and then zero in on the best sellers. We’ve also added a group of performance fabrics in shirts, and several new pant models in great colors and stretch fabrics to enhance our in-stock jeans program.

“Also new for us, a group of tailored sportcoats to complement our new shirts and pants. All classifications work together perfectly as our colors transcend categories: sweaters, knits, shirts, and jackets.”

Luchiano Visconti’s new line will launch this weekend at the MRket show in New York.
