Lululemon’s EVP of Global Retail Resigns
Delaney Schweitzer, EVP of global retail for Lululemon Athletica Inc., has resigned, effective May 29. She has been with the yoga wear company since 2002 and is credited with helping it expand from a single store to more than 300.
“As Delaney begins this next chapter of her life, we remain committed to creating the incredible future we both envision for our company and people,” commented CEO Laurent Potdevin in a statement. “Delaney leaves behind an exceptional bench of talent who are deeply ingrained in our culture and will continue to lead our retail operations. On behalf of our entire lululemon collective, I offer our profound gratitude for all of Delaney’s contributions and extend our heartfelt wishes for great success as she fulfills her vision and goals on this new road ahead.”
Lululemon reported a 16% boost in its men’s business for the fourth quarter in March, growth Potdevin attributed to new products like the ABC, or “Anti-Ball Crushing” pant.
Net revenue for the fiscal year 2014 was up 13% to $1.8 billion.
