MARC NOLAN SHOES PREPARES TO OPEN FIRST FLAGSHIP LOCATION IN CHICAGO THIS FALL
Since 2018, Marc Nolan has made refined yet relaxed shoes (sneakers, boots, and loafers) from premium quality materials, shoes that blur the lines between dress and casual while never sacrificing comfort. Amidst a year of rapid growth, the brand is excited to announce it will be opening its first retail flagship location this month. The news follows its landing on the coveted Inc. 5000 Most Successful Companies list, having seen a Three-Year Revenue Growth of 2,390%.
“Chicago will always be one of our biggest markets,” says Sebastian Malczewski, Founder at Marc Nolan. “As we look to continue growing rapidly, stores allow us to showcase firsthand all that Marc Nolan has to offer. When it came time to launch our first flagship, it was a no-brainer that it would be in our hometown.”
For Malczewski, passion for style is hereditary. As a child in Poland, his mother and grandmother taught him the importance of making a statement through details. Sebastian carried this ethos with him on his journey to America. He later combined his lifelong passion and years of retail experience to launch Marc Nolan, a tribute to two of the most important figures in his life—his mentor, Marc, and his son, Nolan—quickly becoming a beacon for every man who valued elevated style without sacrificing comfort.
Every detail of Marc Nolan shoes and boots are considered—from the selection of leathers to outsoles to the special extras in each box—to ensure surprise and delight with each pair. With every purchase, customers can expect only premium leather and suedes, memory foam insoles, durable outsoles, and full leather lining. But with prices starting at just $125 they also come at an unbeatable value.
The store will feature a curated blend of Marc Nolan’s most popular staples and latest offerings. The likes of the Aiden Combat Boot (their top seller to date) the Alexander Sneakers, and the Calum Loafers will regularly drop in new colors and fabrications for the season. The store will also be the first to receive a pre-release of the Belmont Wingtip Combat Boot in Black and Red prior to launching online. The selection will include exclusive styles designed with Super Bowl Champion Kam Chancellor, who regularly collaborates with the brand.
Located in the bustling West Loop neighborhood (169 N Sangamon St.), the new 1,300 sq. ft. space features the brand’s signature vibrant blue color throughout, with vermillion accents, mid-century modern lighting, custom modern shelving, and a giant custom plant wall.
“We wanted the design of the space to feel both cool and welcoming, a shopping destination our customers will want to hang out in. It was also important for us to retain the integrity of the original space, and not just be another place for Instagram,” adds Malczewski. The brand is planning to introduce a regular series of programming for the space including bi-weekly sip and shop DJ nights on Fridays. Good music, good drinks, and great shoes.
