MAVI DEBUTS SPRING COLLECTION CAMPAIGN

by Stephen Garner

Mavi has debuted its new spring/summer 2021 collection campaign.

Shot by photographer Alan Chan of Very Polite Agency and styled by Caitlin Sheehan, the Mavi spring/summer 2021 campaign and lookbook were shot in Vancouver, British Columbia, and feature models Pedro Giaferris, Trey Latty, Jessica Zhu, Ciana Parks, Janice Alida, Olvia Bowyer, and Jade Pattenden.

This season, the denim brand’s new “All Blue” spring/summer 2021 collection ushers in a larger range of sustainable pieces, with many additions being made to the recently launched Feather Blue and Organic Move lines.

Feather Blue expands this season with new washes such as light grey and dark foggy, and is available in a vast variety of silhouettes and washes to fit every style. The Feather Blue fabric was developed exclusively for Mavi and the recycled cotton-Tencel blend is paired with a premium denim weave to deliver a soft touch and textured denim appearance, reflecting the L.A. vintage look in a sustainable fabrication.

With sustainability in mind, the Organic Move group is produced using organic cotton, and every piece in the line is made using eco-conscious designs and clean materials that also maintain style and comfort. Highlights include Zach in Indigo Organic Move, Marcus in Dark Brushed Organic Move, Jake in Mid Used Organic Move, and more.

A new fit for spring/summer 2021, the Steve is best for athletic builds who want a relaxed feel and a slim, streamlined look. Featuring a higher front and back rise with a roomier thigh that tapers down from the knee, Steve delivers all the necessities: comfort, mobility, and style.

Mavi men’s also expands the spring/summer 2021 twill group in its five-pocket, chino, and shorts styles with unique washes and attractive colors. Silver pine green, sugar brown, oyster mushroom, and smoke blue add an interesting flair and these cool-toned colors give a modern upgrade to these classic silhouettes.
