MILAN MEN’S FASHION WEEK AW/24: BOGLIOLI

by Michael Macko

MR is pleased to present our recap of Milan Men’s Fashion Week for Autumn/Winter 2024/25. We could not cover all of the 60+ collections showing, so we selected the designers and brands we thought most relevant to you, our readers, if there is someone we missed who you would like to see, please leave a comment below and we will try to include them.

BOGLIOLI

This season Boglioli joined with Steinway & Sons to present its AW/24 collection and continue the bond of fashion and music. Boglioli and Steinway find common ground in a shared legacy of history, innovation, and craftsmanship in this splendid union of fashion and melody.

The big news for AW/24 is that Boglioli has created what it is calling The Suit 2.0. In this iteration, the combo is made up of trousers and an overshirt, rather than a classic coat, making the suit look more contemporary and versatile for the consumer. The pairing gives him the ability to break up looks and get more wear out of the items in his closet while expressing his own personal style.

Cashmere, Shetland wool, and flannel are some of the fabric highlights of the new collection. Cashmere has been developed in all categories: from coats to knitwear, from jackets to shirts. Patterns include herringbone, houndstooth, windowpane checks, and Prince of Wales. A new twist on the brand’s iconic blazer is the Shetland Windsor Jacket, which is made with linear stitching and a patch pocket, putting an Italian spin on a much-loved English country jacket.
For evening there are a series of dinner jackets in fine velvet, offering a choice for every occasion. Colors for the season are beige, gray, antique pink, burgundy, military green, and midnight blue.

Once again, Boglioli is committed to providing its customers with modern sartorial luxury, made in Italy, and one of a kind.
