MONTBLANC PRESENTS ITS LATEST CHAPTER, THE LIBRARY SPIRIT
Another brand that got a jump on fashion week last week, Montblanc presented its latest collection of accessories and writing instruments at a sun-filled studio in New York City’s Greenwich Village. True to the brand’s history, the collection was writing-inspired, incorporating branding, trims, and even product names taken from the brand’s history in writing instruments. The collection includes pen cases and notebooks (of course), as well as backpacks, briefcases, and a wide selection of smaller, everyday carry bags perfect for stashing phones, charging cords, etc.
The latest chapter of Montblanc’s global campaign, called “The Library Spirit” was shot by internationally renowned photographer Mariano Vivanco, and was set at the iconic New York Public Library in Midtown Manhattan, the landmark Beaux-Arts building that houses an exceptional collection of books and maps and home to the famous Rose Main Reading Room. The campaign’s secondary location is a modern West Village loft…which just happens to be where the collection was presented. The campaign features American model Garrett Neff, model, actress and bibliophile Liya Kebede, and model James Turlington.
Montblanc also hosted a party the night before the presentation that included luminaries from the New York literary, entertainment, and fashion worlds.
