MR PORTER LAUNCHES ITS 10TH AND LARGEST CAPSULE FOR ITS PRIVATE LABEL LINE
Mr P., the private label brand from online men’s style destination Mr Porter, has launched its 10th and largest capsule collection to date. Exclusive to Mr Porter, Mr P. is a line of everyday essentials available year-round alongside trend-led seasonal capsules that drop five times a year.
The latest collection encompasses 112 autumn-ready pieces across ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories, including the introduction of belts. It draws inspiration from the late 1960s and early-1970s Paris, interpreting classic French menswear through modern silhouettes in an autumnal palette of navy, camel, olive, mustard, rust, and winter whites.
The September capsule’s ready-to-wear spans 65 pieces, with key styles including: a navy nubuck trucker jacket, a mustard yellow cotton-corduroy over shirt, a pair of off-white tapered pleated cotton-corduroy trousers, a French blue moleskin unstructured suit jacket, a ribbed rollneck sweater in a warm camel wool, a tan and cream shearling jacket and a navy oversized belted alpaca-blend overcoat designed with a slouchy, longline shape.
Also debuting will be 13 new footwear styles, including a pair of smooth black leather boots in a sleek silhouette, along with seasonal updates to the brand’s popular Jacques Derby Shoes.
Rounding out the accessories, the collection introduces belts for the first time, each fit with silver buckles: one 2.5cm black leather belt, three 3cm leather belts in brown, navy and black, and a 3.5cm woven style belt in brown. Additionally, the collection will include seven wool scarves and five hats, all ribbed-knitted in Scotland from insulating wool.
As with every new capsule, the September autumn/winter ‘19 collection will complement Mr P.’s essentials range, comprised of 36 core apparel styles, six accessories and eight footwear staples, available here year-round. Prices range from $35 – $1,420.
Mr P.’s next winter capsule will launch in November.
