NEW YORK MEN’S DAY (NYMD) PRESENTED BY NOBIS ANNOUNCES DATES, NEW LOCATION, PARTNERSHIPS, AND LINEUP FOR SPRING/SUMMER 2023 DESIGNER COLLECTIONS

Agentry PR has announced that New York Men’s Day’s 18th bi-annual menswear collective — presented by Nobis — will be Friday, September 9th, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm ET, and 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm ET. Occupying three floors, the location for the SS23 edition of NYMD returns to Location 05 and Daylight Studios, next to Hudson Yards in Manhattan. This season, NYMD will debut spring/summer 2023 collections from four emerging brands and six returning NYMD designers. Title sponsor Nobis will also exhibit its fall/winter 2022 collection.

“We are delighted about the opportunity that New York Men’s Day presents in bringing Nobis, our Canada-based international outerwear brand, closer to the American fashion and creative community as a whole,” remarked Robin Yates, Co-Founder and Vice President of Nobis. “Nobis, which is Latin for ‘Us’, and NYMD, share a synergy in a commitment to bringing the best and brightest new talent forward and celebrating that in our designs and the versatility of our outerwear. We are honored to show our support for these designers and bring our collection to the industry and to prepare New York for the seasons ahead.”

Conceived to nurture emerging talent and to consolidate top menswear/genderless designers in an easy-to-view venue, NYMD will feature all 10 designers collectively. Each participating designer will present in their individual studio space designed to highlight the label’s identity and inspiration. Taking place simultaneously over two-hour periods, five designers will present in the morning session, and five in the late afternoon. The format of showcasing five presentations at the same time creates ease of flow for media, buyers, influencers, and VIPs, allowing them to move through studios and spend time with designers as their time allows. Nobis will present across both timed sessions.

In addition to the physical event, all 10 brands will also feature their spring/summer 2023 collection lookbook images and/or videos on the CFDA’s RUNWAY360 digital platform. RUNWAY360 continues to be the online destination for domestic and international press, retailers, and industry to discover the latest collections of participating official NYFW schedule brands and designers. The designer collections can be viewed at https://runway360.cfda.com.

Agentry PR, which was founded in 2010 by fashion visionary Erin Hawker, produces and executes New York Men’s Day.

“As our community continues to evolve, grow, and find a path that speaks to the future, we are thrilled to continuously find partners and supporters who share our cause and mission to support emerging talents during a time they need the most. New York Men’s Day serves as a discovery platform and we find a common thread that inspires us all, passion.
