NYC’S MEATPACKING DISTRICT TO HOLD OPEN MARKET FESTIVAL
The Meatpacking District’s Open Market Festival, which will highlight the fashionable New York City district’s diversity of businesses with a series of free events, exclusive tours, public art, and in-store activities, will run October 2-4.
The event will begin a special kickoff concert on Thursday, October 1 at Highline Stages starring Santigold, and featuring DJ sets from Tanlines and Nick Zinner.
Among the many retailers who will participate through in-store discounts and events are Helmut Lang, The Kooples, Hanro, Ted Baker, Rag & Bone, Theory, Vince, and Patagonia. There will also be a guided walking tour of the area, as well as tours of the Whitney Museum and Milk Studios.
