Lifestyle brand Onia is on the move. This season, the brand, known for its luxury swim and resort wear, will be debuting collaborations with online menswear retailer Mr Porter and fashion powerhouse Theory as well as launching a new range of shoes.

Launching this month on Mr Porter, Onia has designed a two-part, sixteen-piece capsule collection (retailing between $65 and$175) that draws inspiration from tropical patterns, and features banana leaf trims and pineapple palm prints seen most notably in the tailored, lightweight vacation shirts, graphic tees and swim trunks. Nylon totes and oversized linen beach blankets round out the collection as ultimate necessities for traveling.

“We have worked with the Mr Porter team for many seasons and know exactly what our customers are looking for,” said Nathan Romano, co-founder of Onia. “A collaboration was the natural next step in our partnership and we look forward to continued success together.”

Next, the brand’s continued collaboration with Theory offers a curated selection of men’s and women’s swimwear in digital prints and textured fabrics for the upcoming summer season.

The men’s swim trunks were inspired by Theory’s summer 2018 collection and include a mix of complementing prints, seersucker and solid colors offered in 11 colorways. The two tailored, 5-inch inseam styles within the capsule will offer convenient on-seam pockets, have been chlorine tested and feature water repellent fabrics and finishings that will make these the ultimate in luxury swim. The Calder 5E style features elastic along the back and the Charles 5 inch offers a full elastic waistband – allowing for unrestricted range of movement.

The 15-piece women’s collection will consist of one and two-piece styles made with beautifully textured fabrics from Italy in sleek shapes and prints on carefully crafted swimwear.

And, as for the footwear, Onia will be debuting a range of five shoe styles for summer as well. There is a slip-on and sneaker style constructed in a neoprene fabric, as well as a linen espadrille and two suede espadrille options offered in a variety of colorways.

That’s not all for the New York-based swimwear brand this season, Onia has also teamed up with SoulCycle, Moda Operandi, and We Wore What on exclusive collaborations. Not bad!
