ORLEBAR BROWN COLLABORATES WITH JAMES BOND 007 TO LAUNCH GOLDEN YEAR CAPSULE
Orlebar Brown continues its longstanding collaboration with James Bond 007, launching a capsule collection to mark the Golden Year, celebrating 50 years of The Man With The Golden Gun and 60 years of Goldfinger.
The collection borrows from iconic James Bond looks in both films. Highlights include a zebra-printed shirt and swim shorts from Scaramanga’s beach scene, Scaramanga’s sweat suit, a glen check pattern borrowed from Bond’s suit made into a swim short, a knitted polo inspired by Bond’s knitted tie, gold swim shorts and shirts, and finally, a black bonded swim short with a laser-cut 007 logo on the reverse, referencing the classic laser scene in Goldfinger.
The capsule also features gold-plated hardware – Orlebar Brown x 007 embossed side adjusters on swim shorts and trousers, and a gold plated buckle on the iconic towelling onesies.
