PANTONE RELEASES SPRING/SUMMER 2025 FASHION COLOR TREND REPORT FOR NEW YORK FASHION WEEK



Pantone LLC has released its Fashion Color Trend Report Spring / Summer 2025 for New York Fashion Week (NYFW). This season’s report features the top ten standout colors, as well as the five new seasonless shades we can expect to see as fashion designers introduce Spring / Summer 2025 collections.

According to Pantone Color Institute experts, colors for NYFW Spring / Summer 2025 speak to our design to align ourselves with the precious natural world. A harmonious grouping of exotic brights, earthy mid-tones, timeless neutrals and an array of eco-inspired foliage greens and expansive blues, they are rooted yet dynamic, reflecting our desire for authenticity and the spirit of joyful individualism and optimism. Weaving together a grounded and sincere medley, colors for Spring / Summer 2025 reframe the familiar into a beautifully original design statement that informs the way forward.

“Colors for NYFW Spring / Summer 2025 combine comfort and glam, blending wearability with desirability,” said Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. “Imbued with appealing deliciousness, they are practical and pragmatic, displaying character and depth but with a fashionable twist that elevates them from the traditional into something much more current and stimulating.”

The Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report has been published by Pantone for 30 years, serving the fashion audience by highlighting the season’s most important color trends. How color makes us feel is playing an increasingly essential role going forward, transforming the industry’s approach to color and design. To reflect this transformation, Pantone has reimagined the Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report to follow suit, adding the key color drivers informing the seasonal edit as well as supporting inspirational visual imagery for each of the top colors and seasonless shades.

For the first time, the Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report also includes a section where the brand spotlights an influential trend color not directly featured in the seasonal collections.

Turbonite, recently introduced from Porsche, a luxury automotive company known for its color leadership, is a visionary gray shade with a tawny bronze undertone highlighting the allure and symbiotic connection of materials and color harvested from the earth.

The NYFW Spring / Summer 2025 Color Palette is a harmonious grouping of color inspired by the precious natural world.

PANTONE 12-0312 TCX Lime Cream: Lime Cream is a soft green tone evoking comfort and ease. Infused with a delicate fresh vibe, Lime Cream creates a gentle buzz.

PANTONE 13-4810 TCX Limpet Shell: Limpet Shell creates a calming and cooling landscape that subliminally slows our pace. An uplifting aqua hue, Limpet Shell cleanses the mind.
