RIMOWA INTRODUCES TWO NEW SHADES IN ITS SIGNATURE ALUMINUM

Rimowa has introduced a pair of new aluminum shades.

Following the successful unveiling of the luxury travel brand’s Essential Collection in seasonal colors, two new versions of the iconic aluminum Rimowa Original is now available in scarlet and marine.

The two new Rimowa Original colors include Marine, inspired by the legendary blue of the Mediterranean; and Scarlet, sampled from the plumage of the Scarlet Ibis, a red bird native to the Los Llanos region, a vast tropical grassland plain situated to the east of the Andes in Colombia and Venezuela.

Crafted in the brand’s premium aluminum, the new cases use a combination of anodizing processes. Vibrant pigments are inscribed directly into the suitcase’s aluminum skin, lending the design a rich, reflective appearance that celebrates the spirit of the aluminum. Each element of the two new designs is expertly matched – from handle and lock to badge and wheel housing – for a monochrome presentation that looks distinctly fresh.

The new Rimowa Original colors will be available worldwide in three sizes – Cabin ($1,150), Check-In L ($1,500) and Trunk Plus ($1,920) both in stores and online at rimowa.com.
