SCABAL TO BRING FINISHED PRODUCTS DIVISION TO UNITED STATES
Luxury fabric company Scabal is bringing its Finished Products division to the United States, which will give retailers the opportunity to order the company’s fabrics in both ready-to-wear and made-to-measure clothing that is produced in its own factory in Saarbucken, Germany.
In conjunction with this development, Jay Myers has been hired as the National Sales Manager for Finished Products for the U.S. and Canada. A 15-year-veteran of the clothing industry, Myers was previously an account executive for Hickey Freeman and president of sales for Measure Up.
“Luxury products have been the core of our business since 1938, and introducing this option to the Unite Sates will enable us to further grow the Scabal brand,” said Craig D. Wertheim, Vice President of Scabal, USA. “Bringing Jay Myers to run this division is a great choice.”
“I am being entrusted with a significant responsibility, which I don’t take lightly,” added Myers. “With a significant seasonal collection and an in season offering, which will be backed by one of the most extensive fabric collections in the industry, we believe we will offer a very unique opportunity for any retail looking for a fully diverse clothing selection. We will offer both half and full canvass options in hanging goods as well as made-to-measure.”
