On Tuesday, July 11, British online retailer ASOS celebrated the launch of its spring/summer 2018 menswear collection with rooftop views, music and cocktails at A60 in New York City.
While ASOS has held events during London Fashion Week: Men’s for the past several seasons, this is the first time the brand had a presence during New York Fashion Week: Men’s.
At the event, Nick Eley, the head of menswear for ASOS, walked guests and editors through three of the six upcoming trend collections: the 1970s, the 1990s, and what he called “updated punk.” Said Eley: “It’s amazing to think there are people who will be wearing clothes from all these decades for the first time.”
He also stressed that the new collections were firmly in keeping with the company’s philosophy. “We want to make sure that we offer something for every customer.”
