SCHMOOZING: BONOBOS OPENS NEW CHICAGO GUIDESHOP

Professional basketball star Jimmy (“Buckets”) Butler joined Bonobos founder and CEO, Andy Dunn, Bonobos chief creative officer, Dwight Fenton, and local Chicagoan VIPs and influencers to celebrate the opening of the Bonobos Guideshop at 900 North Michigan Shops on Wednesday, April 20.

The store, which officially opened on April 21, is Bonobos’ twenty-first store nationwide, and second Guideshop in Chicago – hometown of Andy Dunn. The Guideshop offers a special brick and mortar experience from the menswear e-tailer, where customers can try on the company’s clothing before ordering online.

At the party, guests were able to enjoy Mexican-inspired bites from Yo Soy, local brews from Half Acre and craft cocktails from CH Distillery and FEW Spirits. Meanwhile, DJ Lani Love spun tunes while Butler (who actually served a try of appetizers at one point) and the other guests perused the company’s spring and summer collections.
