SCHMOOZING: SAKS OFF 5TH DEBUTS FIRST NYC LOCATION

The first Saks Off 5TH location in New York City, featuring the first-ever Gilt shop, held a special opening reception on Wednesday, March 2. The two-floor store, located at 125 E. 57th Street, officially opened its doors on Thursday, March 3.

At the event, numerous Saks officials mingled with VIP guests, including actress Jamie Chung and designer Joseph Abboud. Invited guests, along with members of the public, got a first chance to look at–and buy – selections from the store’s extensive inventory. Among the many men’s brands represented in the store are Ralph Lauren, Robert Graham, Hugo Boss, Bugatchi Uomo, Vince Camuto, J. Brand, Hudson, and Cole Haan. (As for the prices, we won’t reveal the exact savings, other than to say we were impressed!)

At the entrance to the store, Gilt.com also comes to life, as a shop-in-shop replicates the exclusive online destination with a carefully curated product assortment supported by inspiring digital elements.
