Suitsupply Opening Shops in Two Bloomingdale’s Stores
Suitsupply will open shop-in-shops at two Bloomingdale’s stores in April. The leased shops, both around 1,100 sq. ft., will be in the 59th Street Manhattan flagship and the Beverly Center store in Los Angeles. They will feature an edited assortment of Suitsupply product and will be staffed with Suitsupply-trained sellers and tailors.
The Dutch company, which entered the U.S. market in 2011, now has standalone stores in nine states and Washington D.C., plus a shop-in-shop in Stanley Korshak in Dallas. A Toronto, Canada store opened about a year ago.
Suitsupply has plans to open a 6,000 sq. ft. Dallas flagship, a 4,000 sq. ft. Miami Beach store and a Greenwich, Conn. store this spring with Los Angeles and San Francisco to follow. A second Canadian store, this time in Montreal, is scheduled to open this summer.
