SUPIMA HITS THE ROAD IN FRANCE FOR INTERNATIONAL DESIGN COMPETITIONS

 

In its ongoing efforts to support designers around the world, Supima sets its sights on France for a tour de force.  From its sponsorship of the 38th edition of the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories – Hyères to the 6th annual Supima Design Lab in Paris, Supima brings together an eclectic mix of international leading and emerging designers, and finalists from the Supima Design Competition for a Supima design showcase like no other with a two-day exhibition to be held at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence in Paris.

With Supima cotton fabrics given to each designer, this talented group of creatives have the ability to push the boundaries of what fashion design is and showcase one-of-a-kind collections that exemplify the premium attributes of Supima cotton.

Starting in the south of France, from October 12th to 15th, Supima will be front and center as a sponsor of Europe’s premier fashion festival, of the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories – Hyères.  In addition to providing the festival with custom designed Supima cotton tee’s, Supima is working with ten cutting edge designers supplying them with fabric for their collections as they walk the runway and compete for grants and industry recognition.

From the south of France Supima heads to Paris for an exclusive, invitation only exhibition being hosted by the U.S. Ambassador to France. Held at the Ambassador’s residence, the Supima Design Lab will present a wide-ranging assortment of designs using Supima cotton from a select group of designers.  In addition to the above-mentioned designers from the Festival de Hyères, this year’s SDL will feature exclusive creations crafted by six leading international designers along with the eight finalists and winner of the 2023 Supima Design Competition held this past September in New York City.
