Tie The Knot, the non-profit organization co-founded by actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson and husband Justin Mikita and devoted to LGTBQ equality, is debuting their latest collection of limited edition bow ties on May 17. It will be available exclusively at The Tie Bar’s flagship store in Chicago, and $20 of every $25 purchase will be donated directly back to Tie The Knot.

Drawing inspiration from Ferguson’s current stint on The Great White Way in the solo show Fully Committed, Tie The Knot will offer a variety of Broadway-inspired prints. These new custom designs come in a variety of pastel and saturated hues of navy, magenta, black, and azalea. In addition, a bow tie and pocket square inspired by Fully Committed are also available now online exclusively through The Tie Bar and in the show’s lobby gift shop.

This season’s guest designer, 2016 Tony Award nominee and television star Jonathan Groff, has also created a one-of-a-kind bow tie to support the organization. Groff’s design puts a playful spin on a textural paint-splattered print, and is perfect for any black tie, white tie, or red carpet occasion.

“I’m so excited to support Tie The Knot and all of the incredible work they are doing for LGBTQ equality by designing this bow tie. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do,” says Groff.

  1. I’m not in Chicago, but I’d like to buy JGro’s design to wear at a wedding Memorial Day. Can I do that on line?
