TIMEX DROPS T80 HYPERBRIGHT DIGITAL WATCHES

by John Russel Jones

Some of the early reports we’re seeing anticipate a dazzlingly bright palette for spring 2024. Get ahead of the trend with this latest twist on a 1970s classic from Timex, the Hyperbright, an update to its digital T80 collection. Like the original, this watch packs a date display, stopwatch, INDIGLO backlight, has a 30m water resistant rating, and an alarm. The retro style gets a 21st-century style makeover with a sleeker, more modernized, stainless-steel case and a flexible resin strap in a hyper-bright gradient (there are gold- or silver-toned stainless-steel bracelet versions for you nerds — er — classicists out there). The watch makes its debut at Timex.com today with a retail of $99, or $109 for the classic version.
