TIMEX X TODD SNYDER MOD WATCH MAKES DEBUT

by Brian Lipton

Timex todd SnyderWatch giant Timex and menswear designer Todd Snyder have joined forces once again, this time to create the Timex X Todd Snyder Mod Watch, which is available for purchase beginning today on ToddSnyder.com. It retails for $138.

While the two companies have worked together before, this watch is part of a new collaboration, called the Archive Collection, and is a modern retelling of an original 1970s-era Timex watch. It features a bold bullseye design and military numbers, a durable gray nylon NATO slip-thru strap, matte brushed silver-tone 40mm case, luminant hands, and INDIGLO night light, and has 50-meter water resistance.

“We’re excited to continue to collaborate with Todd Snyder,” said Silvio Leonardi, SVP of International Markets at Timex Group. “Todd’s classic American heritage and commitment to superior craftsmanship are qualities that perfectly align with our brand’s commitment to creating exceptional timepieces at a great price.”

“When I discovered a vintage 1970’s Timex with that striking mod red-and-black bullseye graphic, I knew I wanted to work with the talented Timex design team to put my own modern spin on it to create a bold new design,” adds Snyder.

As an extension of this long-term collaboration, Timex is partnering with Snyder during his New York Fashion Week: Men’s Fashion Show on July 14 at Skylight Clarkson Square, 550 Washington Street in SoHo, where the Timex X Todd Snyder Mod Watch will be on display during the presentation and be worn by the models walking in the show.
