VESTIGE RELEASES NEW COLLECTION WITH THE JOSEF AND ANNI ALBERS FOUNDATION

by Stephen Garner

Vestige has joined forces with The Josef and Anni Albers Foundation to design a capsule collection directly inspired by the German-born American artist’s most emblematic designs.

Expressed in graphic t-shirts, camp shirts, and swim – this collaboration celebrates the shared appreciation of geometric style that Vestige brings to fashion and Josef Albers brought to his work.

It begins with the first drop, a warm-weather limited edition chromatic capsule, paying tribute to Albers, best known for the iconic “Homage to the Square” series and pioneering work on color theory.

“It really was a dream to partner with The Josef and Anni Albers Foundation on this project and to be able to create designs inspired by the incredible body of work Josef Albers left the world,” Vestige co-founders Mark DiMuzio and Kyle Derlet tell MR. “This collaboration is the first for Vestige’s artist series, and we couldn’t be more excited to have it be with the foundation. It’s been a great opportunity that has opened the door to working with other artists we love”

The collection, which retails between $36 and $88, is now available. A second drop between Vestige and The Josef and Anni Albers Foundation will arrive in September.
